GREAT NEWS TO GUYS OUT THERE!

Hope you’re having a great week at work and for some enjoying their school holidays! :)
As you all know - Active Red’s flagship Active Kickboxing Fitness Class is an ALL FEMALE class. However, due to overwhelming response from the GUYS – we’ve got GREAT NEWS for you!
Active Red will be opening an ALL MALE class soon! This is mainly because we hope that everyone would get a chance to come and enjoy our Active Kickboxing Classes!
ARE YOU A BEGINNER IN KICKBOXING CLASS?
Active Red is the right place for you as we started off with an introductory class and we make kickboxing easy and enjoyable experience for you. At Active Red, our classes are currently and primarily done for general fitness — the “fight” element has been removed from our Active Kickboxing programmes. Active Kickboxing classes are taught by highly-qualified and experienced instructors.Everyone can join our classes – NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY.
However, for our upcoming ALL GUYS class, we will be putting back some ‘FIGHT” elements into it!
WHAT TO EXPECT FROM YOUR FIRST CLASs?
Simply your sport wears and that’s it! Our studio are armed with sport equipment such as boxing gloves, handheld pads/bags, round/rectangular shield to start off with your kickboxing class. It is an amazing fun workout and prepare to SWEAT!
Reasons to take up Kickboxing Fitness Class:
1)    It helps to build up your stamina as the continuous punches and kicking, intensities over a period of time helps to improve your cardiorespiratory endurance (Stamina)
2)    The intensity of these workouts will keep your heart rate up and the calories burning for a few hours after every class. Together with advice from our nutritionist*, you can expect further weight loss and achieve your desired body composition (weight and body fat percentage) in a few months!

3)    Muscular Strength and Endurance
The handheld pads/bags act help replicate the effects of resistance training experienced in weight training — so you can also expect to reap the benefits of weight training

Executing the kickboxing techniques in its full-range of motion/movement will help you improve your body’s overall flexibility. The more you reach for your punches, the more flexible your arms and shoulders will be. The higher you kick, the flexibility in your legs will improve!
5)    Agility, Balance, Improving Motor Skills, Co-ordination and Reflexes
Accurately hitting and kickboxing handheld pads/bags will help you achieve better balance, hand-eye co-ordination, agility and reflexes.
